Tips: What's the lowest & highest frequency that a VFD can run?
This depends on what variable frequency drive (VFD) and what inverter you are using, most inverters will give you 0 Hz – 400 Hz frequency. However this must be matched by the VFD if your manufacturer has only rated and balanced the VFD to 50 Hz – 60 Hz then running it at 400 Hz would be catastrophic, similarly that same VFD wont enjoy low speeds of 15 Hz.

The normal operation depends on you process requirement, if your process requires 120 Hz then that's your normal operating speed, you may need to compensate for high torque in the process or ambient temperatures, these things can be factors in the actual speed you get in the control process.
