Tips: Can a VFD run on 400Hz?
Variable frequency drive (VFD) running on 400 Hz is not a problem as most VFDs can provide that output frequency but some may require a firmware modification to go that high. That high of an output frequency would also require a carrier frequency of at least 4 to 4.8 kHz as the ratio is required to be at least 1 to 10 but 1 to 12 is better. With that being said, the higher carrier frequency would require most VFDs to be derated a little bit.
Existing reviews
A standout feature of this VFD is its automatic voltage regulation (AVR),which maintains a consistent output even with input voltage fluctuations.

Improved Speed Control and Efficiency
It offers precise speed control and smooth operation, even at low speeds, which is crucial for my application. The motor runs more efficiently, with less noise and vibration, thanks to the smooth acceleration and deceleration profiles. It’s a noticeable improvement over the previous system I was using.

VFD input voltage range is three-phase 220V±10%. There is no problem if the voltage occasionally fluctuates to about 250V, but if the voltage fluctuates to 280V, it is too high. This situation may damage theVFD.
We recommend that your power supply voltage should not exceed 250V, to ensure stable use of the VFD and longer life.
