Tips: Difference Between VFD and VSD
A VFD (variable frequency drive) varies the output frequency to control or change the speed of an AC motor and is only used with AC motors. A VFD operates by taking the AC input, chopping it up, and converting it to a Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) output that simulates an AC sine wave. A VSD (variable speed drive) can be a VFD (variable frequency drive) when referring to AC but it is a VSD when used to control a DC motor which varies the output voltage to control or change motor speed.

Rugged and low maintenance
I have bought this VFD for six months now and have not had any problems with it so far. The voltage options supported are varied and adaptable. The device is designed to be rugged and durable for long-term use, and maintenance is very easy.
