Tips: Can a 60Hz motor run on 50Hz power supply?
The motors can run at any frequency starting a few Hz until over frequency (a realistic one), the variable frequency drive can do that, as you know. But the motor has to be cooled, ventilated by attached coolers /ventilators. There are a lot of applications when the motors are run at frequency between 10 Hz and 60 Hz (with variable frequency drives) long periods without problems. Main condition is to be cooled! Instead, the very low frequency (for example around 5 Hz) its more difficult because you have to inject a higher current and could become dangerous, so it can be done but not for a long period.

Will this frequency converter work or is there a better unit to use?
Yes, it works, based on your specs, recommended frequency converter model: HZ-50-3130, 30kVA power capacity, input: 3ph, Wye (L1,L2,L3 + N,G), 480V (+/- 10%), 50/60Hz and output: 1ph, (L + N,G), adjustable (0-300V), adjustable (40-120Hz), 125A.

Will this frequency converter work or is there a better unit to use?
I need to go 480/3Phase/60Hz to 230VAC/1 Phase/60Hz @30A. 15kVA max. Application is for a microwave generator. Will this frequency converter work or is there a better unit to use?

Respond: Is it possible to phase synchronize?
Synchronization is not possible, but you can use one large converter capacity To handle several 10kVA loads, our converter output is hard wire "free terminals" , you can connect any number of loads..

Is it possible to phase synchronize?
I am looking into powering several 10kVA loads in a complex system using your converters. Is there a way to phase-synchronize your converters?
System will be 480 VAC 60 Hz 3 phase in, 400 VAC 50 Hz 3 phase out.

Can the device we purchased be connected to an input voltage of 208V/60Hz?
Can we connect input voltage of 208V/60Hz instead of 110V/60Hz to the units we purchased?

We have purchased two of these to run 400V 50Hz 3 phase European machines here in the states from our 240V 60Hz power. these have both arrived quickly and in perfect condition. Have been using these for over a year now without any issues.
I caused a few issues of my own but their engineer Sameh Gouda was very quick to help resolve my problems.
